My Grandfather died before we could talk, but he willed his ring to me. I would care to know more about my maternal legacy. My grandfather, Robert Moore Ayers had no sons. I am the first born to his first born and as such, respectfully lay claim to my heritage as an Ayers in the Scottish Rite. Please instruct me on how to persue this course of action. Sincerely, Mikal Kartvedt 310.645.6964 home 213.503.4410 cell 818.980.2123 svc.

Love the site I'm having a hard time finding the date for the next class, I have some bros wanting to join could you let me know the date thanks FYI for your Famous Masons section Magicians The Royal Dynasty of Magic succession goes as follows: Alexander Herrmann aka "Herrmann the Great" died in 1896 leaving the mantle to Harry Kellar. Kellar passed the mantle on to Howard Thurston in 1908 and designated it to go to Harry August Jansen aka "Dante the Magician." In 1955, Dante passed the mantle on to Lee Grabel. On May 12, 1994, Lee Grabel passed the mantle on to Lance Burton. The mantle represents the premier classicist magician in the world. All of these guys were/are Brother Masons except for Lance Alexander Herrmann Harry Kellar Howard Thurston Harry August Jansen Lee Grabel, 32 degree, lives near San Francisco Lance’s Manager, is a Mason many are of his crew are Masons and Lance donates a lot to the Shrine Hospitals It’s my understanding that he plans to join, when time permits

This is an absolutely fabulous web site. My family is Masonic (my dad, grandfathers, and my mother and grandmother and I are all OES) going way back, but my husband is the first in his family to join. Funny thing: we met doing the musical FIORELLO and then played Marian and Harold in MUSIC MAN. Both LaGuardia and Meredith Willson are on your list. AND...my husband's favorite golfer is Arnie Palmer. What a joy to stumble across this site while looking for a photo of Dave Thomas!

Gentlemen, First let me congratulate you for your outstanding website. It is quite informative. I have been a memeber of Majestic Lodge #7 A.F.& A.M. John A. Bell Jurisdiction in Los Angeles for about 1.5 years.Do you recognize this jurisdiction? We are not Prince Hall,as all black Master Masons are assumed to be. We've been chartered for over 100 years. I am striving to be much more active in the Scottish Rite community and would appreciate any and all information your office can share with me. Thank you for any assistance in my quest for enlightenment.
